You have a Social Studies teacher! Let’s keep them by providing them with the support they need to build their capacity. For just over the price of a half-day of support, your teacher can be part of this 1st YEAR New social studies teacher academy and start of the year strong, establish their instructional model, build their instructional practice, and engage students. We will meet five times a year for a full-day, three in the Fall and two in the Spring. Participants will learn how to establish procedures & protocols for classroom management, plan with the TEKS Resource System, use data for lesson planning, learn strategies that engage students in learning and deepen content, STAAR redesign and be provided several resources to fill their tool kit. Space is limited so please register early.
This cohort is a 5 day cohort from September 2023 - March 2024 to support NEW 4 -12th grade teachers (1st YEAR ONLY) in Social Studies. 2023-2024 Elevate20 Cooperative Members fee = $0
