ESC-20 provides training and technical assistance to district transition contacts and vocational adjustment coordinators in the development and implementation of effective transition services and inter-agency collaboration.

Important Session Information:


Districts/Charters are strongly encouraged to attend as a SPEDTeam consisting of a Transition Designee (TED), ARD facilitator, case managers, and anyone else involved in or responsible for student’s graduation planning. 

The Foundation High School Program became the default graduation program in Texas for ALL students entering ninth grade beginning with the 2014-2015 school year. 

This session will include Texas laws, rules and administrative codes, as they apply to Special Education students with transition plans students attending public schools in Texas. All state requirements needed to graduate including programs of study,  endorsements, distinguished level of achievement and performance acknowledgements and how they apply to students receiving special education.
