Are you an educator that supports students receiving dyslexia services? This three-hour session will dive deep into the essential components of creating PLAAFPS and Goals for students who receive dyslexia interventions, including state resources, guiding questions, and real-world examples. Come prepared to engage in application activities that will build your knowledge in recognizing the unique impact of a student's disability, understanding essential elements of PLAAFPs, and aligning standard-based IEP goals for students with specific needs related to a dyslexia diagnosis.
Attendance is appropriate for teachers who desire to increase foundational special education program knowledge and teachers tasked with IEP development for students serviced through dyslexia services.
Upon registration for the session, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, call Central Registration at 210-370-5671 for assistance during business hours 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Please contact Kelly-Anne Carroll at
