This session is designed for secondary mathematics educators who want to make best use of the FREE Desmos calculator and Desmos Activity Builder to greatly enhance mathematics learning and instruction for students. In the morning we will take a look at both the standard Desmos calculator, as well as the STAAR version. We will also dive into the already made Desmos activities and take a look at how to make these your own and ensure they are aligned to the TEKS! In the afternoon, we will give you time to create your own Desmos Activities. An emphasis on creating questions aligned to the new STAAR item types will be discussed as well.
