WEBINAR: ASCENDER SIS Consultant PD



The Texas Computer Cooperative (TCC) is a statewide cooperative of 19 Texas Education Service Centers (ESCs).  The TCC has been providing high quality, compliant, comprehensive business and student software and support to Texas LEAs for over 50 years.  The TCC product, ASCENDER, is used by 885 LEAs in Texas to empower LEAs to make informed decisions and engage stakeholders through powerful tools and applications.  The TCC operates only in Texas, serving Texas schools through Regional Education Service Centers.  



Important Session Information:


WEBINAR: ASCENDER SIS Consultant PD: Two Day Session (8:30 am - 3:45 pm)

  • Day 1
    • End of Year Processes: Review the end of year processes that occur in multiple applications like Attendance, Grade Reporting, and TeacherPortal.
  • Day 2
    • Discipline Overview: Learn the basics about the Discipline application and creating an incident.
    • TeacherPortal Disciple Referrals: Learn how to set up and use TeacherPortal referrals and how to review the referral in the Discipline application.

This session will take place via Zoom and facilitated in a "procedure and process" format, with the expectation that participants engage in the practice procedures presented.

Participants must have a desktop or laptop, an adequate internet connection, and access to their own test environment in order to participate and must ensure they can log into the ASCENDER Enterprise System and the Student Portals.
