Professional development for school counselors is aligned with the Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling Programs and supports work in the four service delivery components: Guidance Curriculum, Responsive Services, Individual Planning, and System Support.

Suicide prevention happens when people and communities come together. When we know what to look for, pay attention to those around us, and act when we see something, we will reduce the number of deaths by suicide. But where do we begin? Whether you are a professional, a worried parent, or a concerned friend, AS+K? training provides resources to help you learn the signs to look for, how to talk to someone about what they are feeling, and where to go for more help. You will receive an email from Connect20 confirming your registration; please be sure to check your spam/junk email. If you do not receive an email confirmation, please call Central Registration at 210-370-5671 for assistance Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM-4:30 PM. If you find you are unable to attend, please unenroll yourself in Connect20 so those on the waiting list may have an opportunity to attend.
