Professional development for school counselors is aligned with the Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling Programs and supports work in the four service delivery components: Guidance Curriculum, Responsive Services, Individual Planning, and System Support.

Target Audience: PK-8 school counselors

Group counseling is a vital direct service to students and is an effective part of a school counseling program. It has a positive effect on academic, career and social/emotional development. Join us for some new ideas. We will discuss crucial elements for successful small groups and share resources.

Topics include: Emotions and Self Regulation, Bully and The Bullied, Self-Esteem
