Supporting Struggling Students in Science through the Special Education Lens

ESC-20 provides professional development and technical assistance to support educators with implementation of the Science TEKS by analyzing data to enhance instructional practices to meet the needs of students, and provides targeted support to reach campus and district goals.

In this session, examine data trends and discuss how to address students' needs in your special education population through differentiation and specially designed instruction. Understand how to make Science more inclusive using multiple instructional strategies and discuss resources and accommodations to support students' needs in the classroom and testing.
