Target Audience: Educators working with children who have an IDD diagnosis
Road 2 Recovery: Supporting Children with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Who Have Experienced Trauma is a training designed to prepare educators in understanding the basic knowledge, skills and values to effectively work with children with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities who have had traumatic experiences. Participants will strengthen strategies to support students in the classrooms regarding their safety, well-being, happiness, and recovery through trauma-informed practices.
