CHCS Presentation Description: We may hear (or say) “you’re too young to be stressed”, but are we dismissing serious and potentially harmful experiences and emotions that our youth are having? Youth are exposed to endless factors that are impacting their mental health and causing stress and anxiety such as academics, family, friendships, relationships, and social name a few. In this session we will look at the various issues potentially causing these emotions, what type of behavior may indicate a youth is struggling, and strategies to help a child be successful in coping with these experiences.
