Instructional Strategies to Support Students with Dyslexia in General Education



ESC-20 provides training and technical support related to inclusive services for students with disabilities to gain access to the general curriculum. These supports provide strategies so students with disabilities are actively involved and progress within the general curriculum and on state assessments.

Looking for ways to to increase your ability to support Dyslexia Intervention technique generalization in your classroom? 

Participants in this session will learn some of strategies taught within dyslexia interventions that they can use to help students generalize skills by reinforcing them in the general education classroom.

This session will also go beyond what can carry over from intervention and explore strategies that focus on comprehension.

The structure of the session will allow for hands-on application and collaboration time for participants to practice using the strategies and discuss how they could implement them in their settings.
