Audience: RLA Teachers, RLA Instructional Coaches and Curriculum Directors
The first half of the session will be focused on the assessment of RLA (Reading and Language Arts) short and extended constructed responses. Participants will engage in a comprehensive calibration process, dissecting STAAR (State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness) rubrics to ensure a nuanced understanding.
During the second half of the session, the emphasis will shift to the practical application of knowledge acquired earlier in the day. Participants will delve into the creation of constructed response item types within the Eduphoria platform. Subsequently, they will gain hands-on experience in uploading reports generated from these responses. The session will conclude with a thorough exploration of data dissemination using the Aware application, empowering educators with the tools to extract meaningful insights from assessment reports.
