Professional development for school counselors is aligned with the Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling Programs and supports work in the four service delivery components: Guidance Curriculum, Responsive Services, Individual Planning, and System Support.

School counselors need efficient strategies for working with students in need without removing them from instruction for extended periods of time. In this session, we will discuss common student concerns and time spent in responsive services. Participants will each receive a copy of 15-Minute Counseling Techniques That Work and supplies. Be prepared to have fun in a relaxed environment!
