G/T 6 hour update: Writing with Depth and Complexity



The Gifted and Talented program at Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) promotes and supports the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students through professional development and technical assistance. This is accomplished by advocating, designing and providing an array of learning experiences for teachers and administrators of gifted and talented students in order to enable them to provide a nurturing environment in which these students with special abilities, unique needs, and diverse backgrounds are recognized.

Important Session Information:


The skill of writing can sometimes be a challenging thing for students to engage in or may have trouble knowing where to start when asked to write on a topic. The fear of failure can stop students from truly sharing what is on their minds. Come explore strategies to unlock the creativity of your students utilizing the Depth and Complexity framework and help them gain the confidence in their ideas and utilize them in their academic experiences.

This will be a Face to Face session at ESC, Region 20. Please bring charged technology to the session.
