Target Audience: K-12 School Counselors and Teachers

School Counselors are uniquely positioned in the K-12 ecosystem. They're focusing on equitable educational access and optimal learning environments for all students. They're social justice advocates who work at both the individual and systemic level so that every student can access opportunities. Through advising best practices and encouragement, counselors can expose all students to computational thinking and transformative computing careers. Join us for this interactive, ASCA-aligned session facilitated by the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) as we explore ways to promote IT careers to all students, including those who are underrepresented. You will receive an email from Connect20 confirming your registration; please be sure to check your spam/junk email. If you do not receive an email confirmation, please call Central Registration at 210-370-5671 for assistance Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM-4:30 PM.
