Know Your CLASS Series: Thinking Out Loud (Instructional Support-Language Modeling)--NO SHOWS



Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) provides assistance to districts in the successful development and implementation of a school readiness integration model of coordinated funding that brings school districts, Head Start programs and child care providers together in a mixed delivery model.  ESC-20 also provides leadership to ensure the effective regional implementation of appropriate instructional strategies in early childhood settings through technical assistance and professional development in the areas of developmentally appropriate practices and curriculum and supports parents with Pre-Kindergarten information and eligibility criteria.

Important Session Information:


This session will focus on Instructional Support and how strong language modeling and engaging in meaningful conversations between teachers and children. Participants will deconstruct 'meaningful conversations', understand how to plan for them, and create opportunities to use the language that they know in authentic ways.
