Technology in the Early Childhood Classroom: Resource and Research to Master ANY 2022 PK Guideline

Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) provides assistance to districts in the successful development and implementation of a school readiness integration model of coordinated funding that brings school districts, Head Start programs and child care providers together in a mixed delivery model.  ESC-20 also provides leadership to ensure the effective regional implementation of appropriate instructional strategies in early childhood settings through technical assistance and professional development in the areas of developmentally appropriate practices and curriculum and supports parents with Pre-Kindergarten information and eligibility criteria.

Important Session Information:

Technology is here to stay! In the early childhood classroom, technology must be intentional to avoid use for entertainment. Participants will learn how to intentionally use technology as a resource and for children's research. Participants will choose a way to explore with technology during our day, including some time outdoors if preferred!

If planning time outside, please wear sunscreen and/or bring a hat and a water bottle.
