Navigating the REED Process-Online Course



This two-hour online course guides participants though a best practice model of the Review of Existing Evaluation Data (REED) process within a special education evaluation. The course will identify the regulations that are set in state and federal laws with regard to REEDs. The recommended process to review existing evaluation data thoroughly, and make sound decisions about conducting new evaluation when needed are covered in detail. Lessons learned from legal cases will be investigated in order to avoid similar mistakes. Participants will be able to review best practice methods when encountering common situations related to student evaluation.
