Autism Evaluations: Tools to Support Effective School-Based Diagnosis and Intervention
ESC-20 provides resources, training and technical assistance for evaluators. Quarterly contact group meetings for LSSP’s and Educational Diagnosticians are also provided.

Important Session Information:
Join Dr. Marilyn Monteiro for this one-day workshop provides participants with qualitative tools to support autism evaluations in the school setting. Participants will learn how to use a practical framework and descriptive language when discussing the autism spectrum brain style diagnosis with parents and teachers, and how to conduct diagnostic student interviews using sensory-based interview techniques. Narrative report writing and how to link the diagnosis with practical interventions will also reviewed. Participants will receive a comprehensive reference packet.
