G/T Coordinator Meeting - Rescheduled to March 7, 2019



The Gifted and Talented program at Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) promotes and supports the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students through professional development and technical assistance. This is accomplished by advocating, designing and providing an array of learning experiences for teachers and administrators of gifted and talented students in order to enable them to provide a nurturing environment in which these students with special abilities, unique needs, and diverse backgrounds are recognized.

Important Session Information:


This is the Spring Meeting for G/T Coordinators in the Education Service Center, Region 20 area.  The meeting will allow you an opportunity to meet with other G/T Coordinators in the Region and allow for opportunities to collaborate on State Initiatives.  Participants will also be receiving TEA updates on G/T Services as appropriate.

 

This Meeting was rescheduled to March 7, 2019.

The AM Session will be from 9 AM - 12 PM and will consist of TEA and ESC updates.

The PM Session will be from 1 PM - 3:30 and will consist of Publishers discussing assessment tools that can be used in the identification of G/T students for services.
