Fostering Successful Supervision for Evaluation Personnel



ESC-20 provides resources, training and technical assistance for evaluators. Quarterly contact group meetings for LSSP’s and Educational Diagnosticians are also provided.
 


Important Session Information:


Supervision presents many significant opportunities for on-going learning and skill development of student, intern and early career evaluation personnel. The application of school-based special education evaluation is a complex and multi-faceted process that can present unique circumstances and potential challenges for both supervisors and supervisees. As a supervisor there is responsibility to the professional practices of students and interns working in schools. This session will focus on the essential elements of supervision to foster successful experiences for supervisors and supervisees.
