Important Session Information:


In this session, participants learn how to improve students’ reading fluency, comprehension, and spelling through knowledge of the six syllable types.  Participants learn and practice strategies for teaching students to divide multisyllabic words into their syllable components, to understand the characteristics of each of the six syllable types, and how to use knowledge of syllable types to read unknown words, as well as spell multisyllabic words.
