Supporting LGBTQIA+ Youth in Schools for Evaluation Personnel



ESC-20 provides resources, training and technical assistance for evaluators. Quarterly contact group meetings for LSSP’s and Educational Diagnosticians are also provided.
 


Important Session Information:


The current session will focus on issues impacting school-age youth who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersexed, and Asexual (plus other identifiers; LGBTQIA+). Attendees will learn about experiences of harassment and assault, ethical and legal issues pertaining to supporting LGBTQIA+ youth, and identify a plan of action for how they can work toward issues within their schools.
