The School Finance Budget Series is targeted to meet the needs of new Superintendents and district level/cabinet level program leaders who have budget responsibilities. This series will provide an opportunity to improve their understanding of the Texas school finance system. The series will focus on specific, calendar-driven budget requirements that are relevant to district level leaders. The design of the series will allow for collaboration and networking with fellow participants around timely budget-related topics and issues. This session will begin with a four-hour face-to-face financial overview in January and be followed by monthly hour-long sessions via Zoom through May.
