Due to ESC-20 Maples Conference Center being closed during COVID-19, this session will now be offered via Zoom. The zoom meeting will take place on July 23-24, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on both days. In order to receive credit for the session, you must attend both days.
Let's Move It! Large Group time is part of the daily routine in which students and teachers come together to experience companionship, information sharing, a sense of community, and the enjoyment of doing things together. Experiences include singing songs, making music, moving and dancing, exploring classroom materials, storytelling and story reenacting, and interacting with classroom guests. This session will explore ways to plan and facilitate Literacy and Math movement activities that promote student's use of materials, ideas, and their own bodies in creative ways.
