Behavior intervention plans (BIPs) are means for parents, teachers and other educators to work collaboratively to support and instruct a student behaviorally. Function-based behavior intervention plans can be developed as a result of information gathered through a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA). This session will explore the necessary skills for the FBA process and writing the resulting individualized behavior intervention plan.
This session will take place in the form of a Zoom session. Participants must have a desktop, laptop or
Chromebook in order to participate, along with an adequate internet connection. Active participation of various
forms will be required during the session in order to obtain course credit.
