This session is designed for teachers of students with complex communication needs (non-verbal) who need augmented and alternative communication (AAC) support.
Through this series, participants will use modules created by leading researchers in the field as well as in-person experiences at Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) to develop or refine their skills with implementing AAC systems in their classrooms.
Participants will also receive a free book that we will work together to adapt, a goody bag to assist in adapting materials on your own, and an AAC Kit for your classroom which includes student boards and a teacher board for modeling.
