RESCHEDULED: Literacy Standards-Based Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance Statements (PLAAFPs), Individual Education Program (IEP) Goals, and Intervention Design (Compliance, SPED, Paperwork)



ESC-20 provides training and technical support related to inclusive services for students with disabilities to gain access to the general curriculum. These supports provide strategies so students with disabilities are actively involved and progress within the general curriculum and on state assessments.

Important Session Information:


This session will focus on specializing and individualizing instructional supports and services for students who receive special education services and who experience reading difficulties. Participants will examine and practice utilizing TEA guidance and best practices in developing data driven Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance (PLAAFP) statements, writing literacy standards based Individual Education Program (IEP) Goals, and individualizing interventions to support students in making progress on the outlined areas of need.

 

This session presents the same information on developing PLAAFP statements and IEP goals as the general session. The only content difference will be the emphasis placed on literacy standards. 

This course is appropriate for all contents that support literacy.
