This session is designed to familiarize School District Special Education Directors or their designee on the process to update the Legal Framework with their updated Board policies as required by regulation.
[Charters have their own session due to differences in their process.]
Participants need to come with:
administrator login and password required for their LEA's Legal Framework Administrative page
a device to access internet in order to access their policies.
All attendees will receive instruction on this process and time to complete linking their policies to the Legal Framework. The goal is to have this requirement completed by the end of the session. Regulations require all districts to have these policies updated by October 31, 2020.
