Creating a website can be quick and easy with Google Sites. Gather a variety of information in one place -- including images, videos, documents, calendars, presentations, text, and more -- and easily share it for viewing or editing with a small group, an entire organization, or the world. Librarians could use the Google Sites platform for a library website, program manual, or as a means to curate and distribute resources for a specific learning purpose like a lesson or activity. Collaboration is easy with Google Sites since it allows for editing by more than one person opening up options for working with teachers with limited time. There’s no limit to the ideas you may have on how to put Google Sites to use at your school. Multiple examples will be shared and participants will have ample time to plan, tinker with, and design a sample Google site.
Participants are asked to bring a laptop or Chromebook with G Suite account.
Don’t forget your charging cable!
