Educators who make G Suite an integral part of their daily classroom practices can take teaching and learning to a much higher level. It facilitates a learning and sharing environment that students will need to be comfortable with in order to be successful in their school career as well as life after K-12. G Suite allows students to collaborate, communicate, and create synchronously and asynchronously.
This session provides hands-on training on working in a cloud based environment, its advantages versus traditional classroom practices and how educators can use Google applications in their classroom. The morning will focus on different aspects of Google Drive. The afternoon will be spent delving into Google Docs and Slides, exploring tools and add-ons within Docs and Slides and exploring collaborative projects and how to effectively move towards a paperless classroom.
Note: Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop and power cord to the workshop.
