Professional development for school counselors is aligned with the Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling Programs and supports work in the four service delivery components: Guidance Curriculum, Responsive Services, Individual Planning, and System Support.

Important Session Information:


Have you ever struggled with how to get started with small groups?   In the morning, of this session we will focus on all aspects of small group counseling.  We will discuss everything from how to set up groups, referrals/interviews, record keeping, and the group process.  During the afternoon, participants will be given the opportunity to make fun, engaging, and low cost games and activities.  Participants will be given the opportunity to network with one another to share best practices, challenges, and experiences.  Come prepared to learn, play, and have fun!
