Create an effective math classroom by engaging and challenging each student through higher order thinking and real world problems. This session will make connections to other disciplines and help the learner build their academic language and share their mathematical journals with others to share their knowledge and draw conclusions. I will show each participant how to be passionate about math and use a positive attitude to help each student achieve their goals. Each teacher will leave with lessons that focus on differentiation, cooperative learning, scaffolding, visual, auditory and tactile learning styles.
