RESCHEDULED to 4/23/20: ZOOM version: High Cost Funds Application for Special Education (ISDs and Charter Schools)



ESC-20 provides training, technical assistance and resources for complying with state and federal regulations, state monitoring systems and federal funding requirements. Monthly special education director meetings are hosted to share all relevant information.

This session is available via ZOOM only. This session has been rescheduled from April 6 to April 23, 2020.

This session is designed for special education directors who are interested in requesting a High Cost Funds award from TEA (Texas Education Agency).

High Cost Funds is an optional source of federal funds to help offset the financial impact on LEAs (local educational agencies, which includes ISDs and Open-Enrollment Charter Schools) that provide educational services to high-need children with disabilities (under IDEA-B, Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Part B).

Participants will learn how to navigate the High Cost Funds application and gain an understanding of the general requirements for requesting a High Cost Funds award.

Webinar Session Requirements:

Participants must join using a desktop computer, laptop, or Chromebook. There are no pre-session or post-session assignments for this event.
