What is the difference between Standard Protocol Dyslexia Instruction (SPDI) and Specially Designed Instruction (SDI)? How do you specially design instruction for students identified with dyslexia who are served by special education?
This session will explore each of these questions, and participants will leave with practical ways to adapt dyslexia instruction to meet the unique needs of individual students who have dyslexia and are served by special education.
Recommended Prerequisite: This session is an advanced session. Participants who have completed Dyslexia Identification Series Part 1 (Dyslexia 101) and are familiar with the dyslexia instructional program used at their campus/district will gain the most benefit from this session.
