Important Session Information:


Dyslexia Update for Classroom Teachers is a great place for any educator who is new to dyslexia/learning disabilities learn: signs and characteristics of dyslexia, misconceptions about dyslexia, effective reading instruction, and classroom accommodations.

Dyslexia Update for Classroom Teachers will address the following areas:

  • What dyslexia is
  • Misconceptions about dyslexia
  • What dyslexia may look like in the classroom
  • Effective reading instruction
  • Classroom accommodations and strategies

This session will take place in the form of a 2-hour webinar. Participants must have a desktop, laptop or Chromebook in order to participate, along with an adequate internet connection. Active participation of various forms will be required during the session in order to obtain course credit. You will receive a confirmation email from Connect20.
