This session will be held via ZOOM. In this session you will learn how to integrate technology purposefully into your classroom in order to deepen student usage of listening, speaking, reading and writing tools. Ongoing use of these tools will increase student engagement, vocabulary usage, and acquisition of 21st Century skills. As a side benefit, these experiences will prepare students for online assessments and performance tasks!
This session is designed for classroom teachers. Tools that will be used are: Padlet, Online Voice Recorder, Google Docs, Read&Write for Google, FlipGrid, and EdPuzzle.
This is a hands-on virtual session. All participants are required to use a teacher laptop with webcam, microphone, power cord and a working Google login (either school or personal). If you have a headset with microphone, please use that during the session.
Prior to the session, you will be sent a link to join a Google Classroom. If your district has blocked you from joining outside classrooms, you will need to use a personal Google account to join the classroom or ask your technology department to whitelist esc20.info. More information will come in an email.
