Important Session Information:

Attend this virtual workshop to learn the importance of teaching decision-making, goal-setting, and self-evaluation skills and see student examples of self-determination. During this workshop, we will discuss these questions:
  • How can educators help students take more ownership of their educational programs and future plans?
  • How can a student understand their disability and use that to help themselves be successful after high school?
  • What does self-determination "look like" for a school-aged student and how can the Admission Review and Dismissal (ARD)/Individual Education Program (IEP) become a more natural student-focused, student-directed activity that promotes positive post-school results?
