The ESC-20 School Safety Program provides training and technical assistance to school districts in the comprehensive development of school safety programs.
We will hear from emergency managers with the city of San Antonio, Bexar County, and the state level. Each will discuss their role and how they coordinate services from our local community and how they work together in times of crisis. We will also hear from other local entities such as the San Antonio Water System, VIA Transit, CPS Energy, HEB and others who will discuss their role and how they coordinate services during an emergency. Finally, retired FBI Special Agent, Greg Pratt will discuss some of the most critical cases he worked and the critical relationships school district administrators should consider developing. This session should assist with identifying the gaps in your emergency operations and continuity of operations plans. It is critical to know which agencies to call upon and the services they provide.
