Webinar: Community and Schools Safety and Mental Health During COVID-19

Session 1:

Title:  Violence Prevention

Description:

Jenny Hixon, Violence Prevention Manager, for San Antonio Metro Health will share information with participants on domestic violence including trends being seen in our community during COVID-19.  Information will also be shared during her presentation over the comprehensive violence prevention work being done in the city of San Antonio. 



Session 2: 

Title:  Adverse Childhood Experiences - ACEs

Description:

In this session, we will discuss the impact of ACEs and how it transcends the traditional boundaries of health and human service systems.  The first step toward healing comes with understanding the problem.  As educators our words and our commitment are vital to the future we all want for our students. The goal of this session is to develop common language and common understanding about how experiences shape our well-being. 

Due to COVID-19, the only payment options that can be accepted to participate in this session are Purchase Orders or credit cards.

Webinar Session Requirements: The morning of the session participants will receive an email with zoom log-in details.
