Information will also be shared during her presentation over the comprehensive violence prevention work being done in the city of San Antonio.

Title: Adverse Childhood Experiences - ACEs

In this session, we will discuss the impact of ACEs and how it transcends the traditional boundaries of health and human service systems. The first step toward healing comes with understanding the problem. As educators our words and our commitment are vital to the future we all want for our students. The goal of this session is to develop common language and common understanding about how experiences shape our well-being.
