Webinar: The Letters in my Name: Early Literacy



Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) provides assistance to districts in the successful development and implementation of a school readiness integration model of coordinated funding that brings school districts, Head Start programs and child care providers together in a mixed delivery model.  ESC-20 also provides leadership to ensure the effective regional implementation of appropriate instructional strategies in early childhood settings through technical assistance and professional development in the areas of developmentally appropriate practices and curriculum and supports parents with Pre-Kindergarten information and eligibility criteria.

Young children only own one thing in this world. Everything can be taken away...except for their name! They care about their name and through school begin to care about other's names. Use the letters in student's name to create excitement about learning letters and sounds!
