This 3-session virtual series provides foundational tips, tools and techniques for those new to facilitating professional development (or for those who want to reinvigorate techniques). The series will address strategies for delivering professional development in a virtual and face to face setting. Participants will examine the unique needs of adult learners, experience and apply professional development techniques that yield results, and examine how to maximize the change process to support long- term learning and transfer for adults.
Each participant will receive a copy of Caffeinated Learning, by Anne M. Beninghof.
Session 1: Tuesday, January 26, 2021; 9-11 AM: Foundations of Professional Development
Session 2: Wednesday, January 27, 2021; 9-11 AM: Professional Development from Start to Finish
Session 3: Thursday, January 28, 2021; 9-11 AM: Reflecting and Moving Forward
Following the series completion, the ESC-20 team will offer virtual office hours for professional development coaching to help you further your professional development skills.
