Important Session Information:

Participants will learn the prevalence of ACEs (adverse childhood experiences) in Texas, and how common it is among our students.  In this session, we will discuss the impact of ACEs and how it transcends the traditional boundaries of health and human service systems.  The first step toward healing comes with understanding the problem.  As educators our words and our commitment are vital to the future we all want for our students.  The goal of this session is to develop a common language and common understanding about how experiences shape our well being.
