RESCHEDULED TO SEPTEMBER 10, 2020
Students have been out of school for an extended amount of time which is difficult for all students. For students who are deaf or hard of hearing (D/HH) who typically present with language delays, the time of quarantine yielded less intense structured language instruction; so this gap in time is especially challenging. How do educators pinpoint the location of language development due to the COVID-19 slide? How do educators implement strategies to boost language development to decrease the language gaps in light of the COVID-19 slide? This session will address these questions.
