ESC-20 provides training and technical assistance for families and professionals working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorders in a variety of school settings.
 


Important Session Information:


Wearing a mask is one of our new norms. Sensory issues such as not being able to tolerate the feel of something on your face, or anxiety that results from something new like wearing a mask, are just a few reasons children with Autism have difficulty wearing them. 

In this Zoom session, My Student Won't Wear a Mask - Teaching with  Social Storieswe will explore and create social stories to help our students wear masks to maximize their participation in a variety of social settings. 

Participants must have a desktop, laptop or Chromebook in order to participate, along with an adequate internet connection. Active participation of various forms will be required during the session in order to obtain course credit.
