Important Session Information:

Disciplinary Alternative Education Programs (DAEP) are temporary educational placements for students who are suspended or expelled from the regular education setting. The goal is for students to return to, remain, and succeed in, their regularly assigned classrooms. Successful transition of students from DAEPs to the regular classroom is crucial to the students’ academic success. This session will examine transition activities and procedures that can be used to reduce recidivism and help keep students in the classroom.
