This is a virtual session
One important goal that many teachers have for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders is independence. In this session, teachers will learn about the implementation of work systems to promote independence. We will explore and identify gradual release strategies to help students rely more on themselves and less on the teacher to complete learning tasks. Teachers will be provided with the opportunity to make a variety of work systems to organize tasks and/or activities for their students and address their unique learning styles appropriately.
