Teacher interns will begin preparation for edTPA through a variety of activities to gain an understanding of the performance-based assessment:

Rubric 7: Engaging Students in Learning
Rubric 8: Deepening Student Learning
Rubric 9: Subject-Specific Pedagogy
Rubric 10: Analyzing Teaching Effectiveness
Teacher interns are required to complete the following prior to the session:
Gmail account to access Google classroom.

Complete Pre-Assignment in Google classroom:
o Locate content area handbook. Download and save to an electronic file for your use.
o Have the following RUBRICS 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 pages from edTPA content handbook you
are teaching.
o Two (2) - three (3) days of lessons within one unit of study..
NOTE: This session is dedicated to planning upcoming lessons.
o Assessments used in conjunction with the intern lesson plans.
