ESC-20 provides resources and training opportunities for parents and families of students served within federal programs, including, but not limited to, Title I, Title III, Special Education, and Head Start.
Procedural safeguards are designed to protect the rights of parents and their child with a disability and, at the same time, give families and school systems several mechanisms by which to resolve their disputes. The Texas Education Agency (TEA) offers multiple processes for resolving disputes related to special education: individualized education program facilitation (FIEP), mediation, special education complaints, and due process hearings. Join us for this parent session to review your special education dispute resolution options and discuss related dispute resolution information specific to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Note: This session will take place in the form of a webinar . You will receive a confirmation email from Connect20 after you register.
