Pear Deck is a free Google Add-on that increases student engagement and allows teachers to create synchronous or student-paced activities that can include formative assessment items such as drawings, text, multiple choice and draggable responses. Templates that integrate with Newsela, Social Emotional Learning topics, and math resources are just a few of the features you'll discover in this session.
A district issued or personal Google account is required.
Note: This session will take place in the form of a webinar. Participants must have a desktop, laptop or
Chromebook in order to participate, along with an adequate internet connection. Active participation of various
forms will be required during the session in order to obtain course credit.
